Bursiek began his career at IBM after graduating with a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Harvard.During his 20 years at IBM, he held a number of executive positions, including: Director of Public Sector Markets, Director of Federal Market Operations and Director of Software and Peripheral Products.Bursiek then became Vice President of Marketing for Burroughs Corporation followed by Vice President and General Manager for the Eastern Operations of Unisys.
