   Featured volunteer: Julie Burrows, a CAPC board member, did not have a playhouse when she was growing up. "I was an Air Force brat and moved six times by the age of 10, so I didn't have a permanent playhouse," said Burrows.
   
   "I do have vivid memories of always climbing to the top of our swingset. That was my portable playhouse that moved wherever we moved."
   
   Burrows became involved with CAPC because "as a mother of three children, it breaks my heart to think that more than 5 percent of the children in our county were abused last year," she said.
   
   "We have an obligation to pay attention to this issue and make sure every child has a chance to grow up healthy and to be taught that violence is not normal. I did not choose social work or health services as a career, so this is my way of contributing to the great work that the CAPC staff does."
   
   An employee of the city of Roseville for 18 years, Burrows is the deputy city manager and economic development director for Roseville.
   
   Burrows and Julie Robinson are working to acquire auction items in addition to the playhouses.
