Josh Burrows Josh began his teaching career in Ithaca, New York. He then came to Larchmont Temple, where he has taught seventh grade Beit Midrash. Adult Learners' Minyan and Adult Hebrew classes. In addition, he serves as lead teacher in the Academy, and as LarFTY advisor.
His other professional experience has been in the field of recreation where he has served as the assistant director of Crane Lake Camp, NFTY-LI regional advisor, and as a staffer at Eisner Camp.
Psychological, sociological and moral dimensions of recreational education was the focus of Josh's undergraduate work. Currently he is a rabbinical student at HUC-JIR.
Recreation even dominates his avocations. Sailing and music are his great passions, and he loves all outdoor summer activities. Josh is the oldest of four children, and has a long familial connection to Larchmont Temple, since he is the grandson of the Merians and the great-grandson of the Blums.
