   David (26) who is Ireland's most successful Finn sailor has competed in two previous Olympic Games in Sydney and Atlanta and is unique among Irish sailors in winning two Olympic races in Sydney in 2000. PwC's support includes the purchase of David's boats and equipment for his bid to become the first Irish sailor to win a medal in the Finn Class. David is a member of the PwC Assurance and Business Advisory Services Practice specialising in investment management.
   
   Speaking at the announcement in Howth Yacht Club Donal O'Connor, Senior Partner, PwC, said:

With his dedication, commitment and single mindedness we are confident that David can successfully compete against the best in the world in Athens.    David, 26, is a trainee Accountant in the PwC Assurance and Business Advisory Services group specialising in Investment Management at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is an Economics graduate of University College Dublin. David is from Portmarnock, North County Dublin and comes from a family with a long association with the sea.
