   The Duckworth Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Burrows as Business Manager - Alcoholic Beverages. Andrew returns to the Group after spending the previous 6 years in FMCG with Cott Beverages and Princes Soft Drinks. This Business Group was formed some 5 years ago to focus on the creation, development and application of flavourings for the various alcoholic categories.
   
   The Duckworth Group has been exporting since the 1920s and now over a third of its turnover relates to international sales. Over the last decade the Group has been enhancing its international presence and now has an extensive network of agents worldwide plus joint manufacturing ventures in India and China, a subsidiary company in South Africa and has recently established Duckworth Middle East in Lebanon. As part of this programme of internationalisation, Andrew has also been appointed a Director of Duckworth South Africa Pty Ltd where his experience and knowledge of the industry will be used to assist this subsidiary develop its customer base and product portfolio in that market.
