MURRELLS INLET - A Georgetown County woman was charged with homicide by child abuse Wednesday after police said her unborn baby died after the mother used cocaine.
Jamie Lee Burroughs, 33, of 4022 Bayfield Loop, was arrested at her home around 5 a.m. Wednesday, said Neil Johnson, spokesman for the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
