Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Mr Andy Burroughs as a new non-executive director following the resignation in March of Dr Sarah Raper who left to become chief executive of Telford First.

Following an interview process, Mr Burroughs was selected by the Board of Governors to sit on the Trust's Board of Directors with effect from 24 April 2006.
Andy Burroughs is a self-employed management consultant from Rutland, specialising in the IT and technology sector.
His previous roles have included a ten-year spell at Microsoft in a variety of sales and marketing positions, most recently that part of the business selling to the education sector in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr Burroughs said: "I am really looking forward to the challenge and I hope my skills and background can make a positive contribution to Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust."
Trust chairman, Dr Clive Morton, said: "We are delighted to welcome Andy to the Trust.
