Annie Hunt Burriss will join Oglethorpe University as associate provost for University College and deputy to the president for community relations.
Burriss comes to Oglethorpe from the Office of the Governor of the State of Georgia where she served as executive director of the Governor's Commission for a New Georgia. As associate provost, Burriss will be directing Oglethorpe's programs for adult learners. This includes six baccalaureate degree completion programs and one master's degree program through University College and Oglethorpe's Certified Financial Planner program.
