   DALLAS - RHD Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert John Burright as chief operating officer of RHD Memorial Medical Center.

   Prior to joining RHD Memorial, Burright served as chief quality officer and community relations coordinator of Tenet Healthcare's Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas. Burright is credited with the hospital's successful operations of clinical process improvement including quality improvement and safety and risk management. He took on leadership roles for multiple hospital committees as well as designed strategies to increase the efficiency of quality care services and cost management.
   
   With more than 15 years of experience, Burright has both clinical and administrative skills with academic training in nursing and health care administration. Early in Burright's clinical healthcare career, he served as director of nursing and compliance officer at Young County Home Health in Graham, Texas and primary care nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
   
   "RHD Memorial is building its services to meet the needs of our growing community," said Burright. "It is a pleasure to work with RHD's medical staff and employees to develop and ensure our quality healthcare services."
   
   Burright is a United States Air Force veteran serving as combat medic in the Gulf War. He also served as combat triage officer providing patient care for an emergency room and burn trauma unit for Grand Forks air force base in North Dakota.
   
   Burright received his undergraduate degree in nursing from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. He continued his academic career at Harding University where he received a master's degree in healthcare administration.
