   Wonders of the Feather River is the topic of Rex's presentation.He will provide a slide show of the natural beauty and historic features of the Feather River, uncovering the layers of geologic formation and explaining the intricate connectedness of the native flora and fauna.
   
   Rex was a naturalist in Oakland before retiring and moving to the Oroville area.He has published a couple of books of essays about his personal connection to the natural world, and he writes a column called RiverWatcher for the Oroville Mercury-Register.
