   Mike Burress joined Community Transit in 1991 where he has held several positions within the Company. Initially hired as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Maintenance, in 1992, he was promoted to Technical Analyst responsible for Environmental Compliance and Industrial Safety. In 1994, Mike transitioned to the Risk Management Division as the Technical Analyst and was assigned additional duties of Worker's Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident Investigation, and Safety Oversight for the organization. Mike was subsequently promoted to Supervisor of Risk Management in 2000 and to Risk Manager in August 2004, with the additional responsibility of Training. He looks forward to participating in the anticipated growth of transportation in the Northwest.
