Daniel Burress, Habitat Toronto's family relations co-ordinator, leads an information session for interested families the first and third Tuesday of every month.
On average, about 150 people attend. "We have a lot of interest," said Burress, who was working with families at the site this past weekend.
"When you see a Habitat volunteer or partner family get to a point where they realize they can make changes, that they can help, the lights go on. For me, the ground shakes. That's great joy," he said. -
