   Steve Burrell, political affairs chairperson for the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of REALTORS® agreed that the seminar was important and well worth the time.
   
   "Being the political affairs chairperson for our board puts me in charge of getting the RPAC fund-raiser going and getting the annual pledge cards out," he said. "It was tremendously helpful to me just based on the fact that it gave me timely insights on things that are going on, and I learned about connections and relationships that I wasn't aware we had. It really gave me some things to come back to my board with and give them here-and-now examples of why this is important."
   
   The day ended with the group looking at various fund-raising ideas.
