Burrell was among a highly prestigious group of winners. She was recognized for her distinguished career in creating world-class advertising campaigns for EDS.

   Burrell has been instrumental in several award-winning campaigns at EDS. The "Cat Herders" commercial, which debuted at the 2000 Super Bowl, won a Silver Lion at the Cannes Film Festival as the best business-to-business television commercial in the world, was a finalist for an Emmy, received a Corporate reputation/Image/Identity EFFIE award and an Advertising Age award.
   
   Burrell was also involved in the widely acclaimed 1994 and 1998 World Cup global TV campaigns and the customer "success story" campaign which was named best corporate advertising campaign in Europe at the prestigious 1997 European M&M awards, sponsored by the Harvard Business Review.
