   Forward who began his career at Lichfield and Atherstone Town, but it was whilst with Stafford Rangers and Macclesfield Town, Burr had considerable experience in the Vauxhall Conference, being a prolific goalscorer averaging two goals every three games.After a £12,000 transfer to Hednesford Town that Steve won medals for the Northern Premier League Championship, Northern Premier League Cup, Southern League Cup, Southern League Midland and Premier Championships, as well as the honour of playing in the 1989 FA Trophy Final.Towards the end of his career he played on-loan at Winsford and then moved to Nuneaton Borough, before joining Grantham.However, he made only three appearances during his short stay at The Meres, the April 1997 league games against Bedworth United, Bilston Town and the May victory over Moor Green, the first of which saw him finish on the bench and his final appearance start on it.After a short spell playing for Shepshed Dynamo, Steve moved into management, taking charge of Nuneaton Borough, before moving to Hucknall Town as manager for the start of the 2003/04 season.Burr is now manager of Northwich Victoria having taken charge ahead of the 2004/05 season.Burr guided Northwich to the Conference North title during the 2005/06 season and was rewarded with a new two year contract.In May 2007 Steve was sacked as manager of Northwich, before becoming manager of Stalybridge Celtic, later the same month.
