   Gail Burnside (Town of Cedarburg) has joined Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc., as Director of Marketing. In her role, she will be a member of the firm's leadership team and lead the marketing staff, with an emphasis on strategic planning and long-term client development.

   Burnside has 14 years of marketing experience, the majority in the architecture/engineering industry. Prior to joining Eppstein Uhen Architects, she held marketing leadership positions at HNTB, a national architecture/engineering consulting firm, and EMCS, a woman-owned civil engineering firm. She is certified by the Society for Marketing Professional Services as a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM).
   
   Burnside is involved in a variety of industry and community organizations. She is a volunteer for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce/Mayor's Office Business Retention and Expansion Committee, and has represented her employers to a variety of Milwaukee organizations, including Public Policy Forum, Menomonee Valley Business Partners and Friends of the Hank Aaron Trail. She serves as a board member and chair of the Human Resources Committee for Safe & Sound, Inc., a model program designed to reduce crime, care for kids and uplift neighborhoods in Milwaukee. She is also an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and Women's Transportation Seminar, and serves as a volunteer at a variety of political and philanthropic events.
