Wolf Ridge renames Burns as chairperson
William Burns, attorney and shareholder of the Hanft Fride Law Firm, has recently been renamed chairperson of the board of Trustees of Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
A 2,100 acre campus of forests, inland lakes and rivers located on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge is located in Finland, Minn. In its 30-year history, it has provided in-depth environmental education to more than 300,000 students.
The center includes a broad choice of environmental education activities. Three-hour daytime sessions are offered in the areas of natural history, cultural history and outdoor recreation. It also offers many evening activities including naturalist programs and lesson planning and activity guides for teachers and parents.
