Bill and I were listening to our Scripture CD's and there in Matthew were the words, "Don't worry about tomorrow."How appropriate!I knew it was from the Lord, and that He had everything in hand, no matter what.If those words had come a day or so earlier, the impact would not have been the same.
God is so precious.I am under His sovereignty, and if He had chosen to take me that would have been fine.However, I asked Him, as His kid, if Bill and I could have some more time for ministry together.In a dream the night before surgery, I was close enough to Jesus to put out my hand and touch His very soft beard.Although He wasn't going to take me home just yet, He was letting me know how close He would be, through all my ordeal to come.
