   Tonya Burns graduated from the University of Kentucky with her B.B.A. in Marketing and Economics. She attended law school at Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky where she received her Juris Doctor degree. In 1995 , she was admitted to the practice of law in Kentucky. Ms. Burns is in private practice with her office being located in Covington , Kentucky. She has been an instructor at KCI for six years , teaching Introduction to Law , Family Law , Real Estate Law and Evidence Law. Ms. Burns is married and has three step-daughters. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association , Northern Kentucky Bar Association , Home Builders Association and serves on the Events Committee with the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
