He has provided trust administration and investment management services for Summit Bank and its predecessor Hazleton National Bank. A graduate of the ABA National Graduate Trust School, the Manufacturers Hanover Trust School and the Kennedy Sinclaire Trust School, Burns also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg State College. He is completing requirements for an insurance license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His community involvement includes Hazleton YMCA/YWCA, Board of Trustees, Greater Hazleton United Way, Board of Directors and the Conyngham United Methodist Church, Finance Committee. Burns resides in Conyngham with his wife Jane and two children.
