   The Chairman of International Radio and Electronics Corporation (IREC), Leonard Isaacs, announced today that Steven K. Burns has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer for IREC (Crown Broadcast) by the Board of Directors.

   Mr. Burns will begin in this capacity July 31st, 2006.
   
   Mr. Burns will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for IREC profitability and growth in the broadcast industry. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he will be responsible for Finance, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Engineering and Human Resources.
   
   Mr. Burns is a CPA with a MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a BBA in Marketing and Management from Ohio University. He has comprehensive experience in Executive Management and Finance with companies such as Zenith Data Systems and Fedders Corporation. Mr. Burns has been operating in the COO/CFO capacity with IREC since 2005.
   
   Mr. Isaacs said: "On behalf of the Board and IREC's shareholders, I take this opportunity to congratulate Steve for his substantial contribution to the growth and development of the company and wish to offer him the full confidence and support of the IREC Board of Directors."
