During almost ten years as Conservation and Design Manager at Cambridge City Council, Jon Burgess transformed the Conservation and Design Team from a small, narrowly-focused team to one widely respected for its knowledge, the high quality of its project work and its inclusive and collaborative approach.Previously, Jon was the Senior Conservation Officer at Peterborough City Council after having gained sound experience of Local Planning and Development Control whilst at Fylde Borough Council.Jon was awarded a Doctorate by De Montford University in 1999 for his work on the Victorian architects Lockwood and Mawson.
