Johnny R. Burgess

Services will be Saturday for Johnny Ruth Burgess , who died Aug. 11 at a local convalescent hospital.She was 74.

Mrs. Burgess was born in Kingstree , N.C. , and lived in Santa Cruz County for 35 years.

She was a member of the Family Faith Christian Center of Watsonville.

She is survived by her son , Wendell Burgess of Watsonville ; daughter Jean Jacobs of Oakland ; nine grandchildren ; and six great-grandchildren.
