Alec BurfordAlec Burford was Managing Director of a large construction company and has significant experience in budgeting, financial management and organisational development.After early retirement, he worked as a management consultant.He was appointed Non-Executive Director of Preston Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in 1998 and then subsequently Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in 2002 and has served on the Foundation Trust Board since its establishment.As well as his involvement on a number of Board Committees, he is also a member of the Board of the Trust's Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
