The group's plan was simple: hike into the forest, find the spot where Team Alpha (Hestand, Buntenbah and Peddy) deployed on 12 March, set up base camp there and retire for the evening until midnight.

The primary activities planned for Sunday included turning over all mini-disks and tapes to Chris Buntenbah of the TBRC for editing and archiving, collecting equipment still in the field and casting the track discovered on Saturday (if it could be relocated).
