His release into Federation custody was negotiated by Captain Bruce Buckner of the USS Vigilant.He did however brief the Romulan Commander on the Nukans, their fighter capabilities and tactics based on his observations of the attack.Since then he has been assigned to patrolling the space around Avalon, along with his Romulan Shadow, a female pilot with the call sign "Phasma".Recently, he, Phasma, and Admiral Kavak encountered a Nukan scouting party in Avalon space, they engaged and destroyed the Nukan vessels, and are celebrating the victory currently at Roshan's West.

Lieutenant Gwyneth Nero - A pilot with the 361st, she was in the battle in space involving over a hundred Nukan and Starfleet fighters.She developed a way of hacking into automated Nukan fighters and using their own ships against them.In a freak accident, during emergency transport her body merged with ionized particles, and she rre materializedon Avalon in a state of half-life.In that state she was able to communicate with an extra-planar Jack Kelray.She was returned to normal by a miraculous procedure, though with her injuries she couldn't fly for years.She's been spending her time trying to come to grips with the reality of being grounded, discussing it with the Wing Commander, Denver Jansen, and trying to find a new career option.
