Kelly Buckles is entering her third season on the sidelines with the Belmont women's basketball program.Buckles, a 2003 graduate of Louisville, is primarily responsible for coordinating the travel for the women's basketball squad as well as film exchange.She fills big roles in recruiting and she also coordinates the annual team summer basketball camp.

A native of Elizabethtown, Ky., Buckles spent four years as the head manager for the Louisville women's basketball program.She also assisted in organizing the ball girl program as well as assisted in ordering and distributing equipment.She has worked numerous at camps including Geno Auriemma's UConn camp.

Buckles received her B.A. in communications with a minor in political science and will complete a masters in sports administration at Belmont in May 2006.

Buckles had teaching and coaching in her blood before her days at Louisville.Her mother, Benita is an educator in Elizabethtown, Ky., and her father, Terry, is in his 33rd year of coaching girl's basketball at Central Hardin High School in Cecilia, Ky.Her sister, Kasey, is a professor at Notre Dame University.

Kelly currently resides in Nashville and is active with the Nashville Sports Council, serving as a member of its Individual Membership Committee.
