An illustration of that was the horrendous Aug. 25, 2005 crash on Highway 33 in the town of Trenton that killed five people and injured several others.The lone survivor in the car carrying four teens causing the crash, a then-16-year-old boy, was the only one wearing a seatbelt, Buck said.

The fire was called in by Jeff Drehr, owner of the home at 3145 Norman Drive, at around 4:39 a.m., Buck said.

The cause of the fire was thought to be heat lamps used to keep the owner's dogs warm, Buck said.

The boy was reportedly sitting in the bucket when he leaned over out of the operator's view and fell from the bucket.His chest was run over by the right rear tire of the tractor, Buck said.

The boy was first taken to Aurora Medical Center in Hartford by Hartford Rescue, but was later transferred to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa via Flight for Life helicopter, Buck said.

His injuries did not appear to be life threatening, however, according to a report.

His department has been working with other police agencies across the region to solve the crimes, he said.

The break-ins "are potentially connected," Buck said."We don't know.You try to share the information with other departments to see if there's evidence that links them together."

Police have interviewed people in connection with the cases, but nobody has been charged with any crimes.
