Mr. David Buc

As director of operations, David Buc manages Ikimbo's entire scope of UNIX and NT operations for the development, testing and production environments, as well as overseeing the configuration, installation and support for the KimboNet platform.

During his 12 years of experience in information systems management, Mr. Buc has handled large-scale, distributed UNIX systems from both the hands-on technical and managerial perspectives.As an independent consultant for the past four years, Buc held several key roles for Fortune Five corporations, such as AT&T, GE, and Mobil Oil, including project/technical lead and systems administrator/integrator.

As a senior technical consultant to AT&T, Mr. Buc led the design and implementation of a high-availability solution to a major component of the company's billing systems.He also served there as a liaison to the technical architecture team to work on capacity planning and analysis activities.

As a UNIX systems architect for General Electric's information services group, Mr. Buc contributed to the design and integration of their large-scale production and staging environments.His previous work as a senior system administrator involved system rollout and support of Mobil Oil Corporation's production UNIX environment totaling over 500 systems worldwide.

Before Mobil, Mr. Buc was a software engineer for the EON Corporation.

Mr. Buc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.
