   However, Keith Bryson, Director of Client Services of RCO Systems, explains, "In spite of the current bad publicity surrounding technology companies, we are doing remarkably well."

   According to Bryson, RCO has never been a dot com company.He believes that part of the dot com companies' problems were that they were so focused on picking up new clients that they often failed to take care of their old clients."There is an amazing number of clients who come to RCO as a result of dissatisfaction with their previous IT service provider," says Bryson.
   
   "We care for our clients in a proactive manner, and they see that," states Bryson."When they're pleased with our service, they recommend us to other clients."He believes this type of recommendation is largely responsible for RCO's continued success, and he also attributes it to the fact that RCO's clients see the value in improving their technology.
   
   Bryson shares that although a number of RCO's clients are seeing a downturn in the economy, most are choosing not to cut the money that they had already allocated to improve their companies' technology.He says, "Our clients are looking ahead, and they realize that while many of their competitors are cutting back, they can continue to invest in technological improvements in order to increase their competitive advantage."
