Lee Bryars joined the Kennedy Library Foundation in March 2008 as a Metadata Cataloger for the Digital Archive Initiative.Prior to joining the Foundation Lee worked at the Berklee College of Music, where she served as Catalog Librarian from 2004 to 2008.She also worked as a graduate assistant at The University of Alabama's W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library and a sound archives intern at the Smithsonian Folkways/ Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.She holds Masters degrees from the University of Alabama in American Studies and Library and Information Studies, and a Bachelor's in American Studies from Sewanee - The University of the South.
