BRUSH has served as Senior Vice President, Senior Housing Development and Operations of the Company since October 2007. Ms. Brush was formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sunrise Senior Living REIT, prior to its acquisition by Ventas in April 2007. Before that, she was Vice President of Operations - West Coast with Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., where she was responsible for the operations of 60 communities. She also served as Chief Executive Officer for The Steeves and Rozema Group of Companies, a private company involved in the development and operations of assisted living, multi-residential, commercial and long-term care properties in Ontario, Canada.
