Jeff Brummel, PMP
Jeff Brummel, PMPhas worked in the high tech sector as a Project and Program Manager focused on product development for over 20 years at Intel, IBM and ROLM Systems with products ranging from next generation Digital Home PCs, Servers and telephony equipment.
Jeff has significant customer-facing experience bridging the gap between internal and external design teams, marketing, validation and management with world-wide teams in the US, Europe and Asia.
A key area of expertise is his understanding of end user requirements and usage models then translating these into products that exceed their expectations.
While serving as the Director of Marketing for the Portland Chapter he earned his PMP Certification and has shifted into the energy sector as an IT Project Manager with specialization in federal regulatory compliance programs related to the US Department of Homeland Security.
This has added FERC, NERC, WECC & CIPS to his acronym list of key words with projects that provide Electronic Security Perimeters around Critical Cyber Assets for the Western US.
Jeff put his PM skills to good use with a 5 year complete restoration of his father's 1959 BMW r69 motorcycle that has won several awards and was prominently featured in the international BMW Owners magazine.
He remains an avid photographer after running a freelance Design & Photography business in the Bay Area.
Jeff earned his B.S. Industrial Design and volunteers his time to manage the PCC Capital Career Center's website.
