Chuck Bruder, Ph.D., George Washington University, Washington D.C.
Chuck was born and raised on Long Island, New York, graduating from University of Rochester with a double major in psychology and political science. After receiving his doctorate from George Washington University, Chuck specialized in emergency psychiatry and ran the psychiatric emergency service at a large suburban Washington D. C. hospital. He was then appointed as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. In addition to directing the drug and alcohol services at Yale, he was responsible for teaching and supervising senior fellows in the the Department of Psychiatry for over 10 years. He also conducted a large private practice in Connecticut for over 20 years. Chuck left New Haven to accept a top management position with the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and eventually decided to stay in Utah. Chuck resides in Salt Lake City with his dog Jasper (the Island View Mascot).
