Shawna Bruce
Shawna Bruce died Wednesday in Oklahoma City. She was 27.
She was born Oct. 21, 1972, in Shawnee. She was the daughter of Vernon Wayne and Louise Mae (Koch) Bruce.
She was a resident of Meeker. She graduated from Meeker High School in 1992 and was a member of the Horton Chapel Nazarene Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents and her paternal grandfather.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Bruce of the home, Meeker ; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Charles Newby, Meeker ; Marilyn Bruce, Meeker ; her paternal grandmother, Anna Bruce, Meeker ; two nieces, Lorri and Melissa Newby, Meeker.
Viewing and visitation will be at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker until 8 p.m. Friday.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Horton Chapel Nazarene Church with Dwain Young and Roy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Rossville Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
