   He was the owner of the Diamond and Gold Exchange in downtown Marysville. He attended the University of Kentucky and was a graduate of Lutheran Brothers School of Business in Kentucky. He was a former court reporter for Faith County, Ky., and a former service representative for National Cash Register in Dayton. He also was an associate of McBee Business Systems in Cleveland and in 1962, opened Templin Typewriter Company on Fifth Street in Marysville. A longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marysville, he served as elder, deacon and trustee and assisted as an usher and audiovisual technician. He was also a member of the Thursday Men's Bible Study.
