   Don Brubeck, the project manager at Seattle-based Bassetti Architects, said the North Kitsap School District and community members wanted a campus that embraced its surroundings.
   
   "It's surrounded by wetlands and woodlands, which makes for a beautiful environment," Brubeck said.
