Sam Broyles
Sam Broyles graduated with a Master of Engineering in the Program for Semiconductor Product Engineering at Texas Tech University in August of 2000 and with a Bachelor of Science with majors in Mathematics and Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a minor in Chemistry from Midwestern State University in May of 1998.In addition to graduating Magna Cum Laude from MSU, he was recognized with both the Man of the Year and Outstanding Senior Man awards.Since graduation, he has been a product engineer at Texas Instruments.During this time, he has developed automated test equipment programs and hardware, performed bench characterization, performed statistical analysis, resolved production test issues, participated in new product development, analyzed devices returned by customers, and performed application research.Product areas have included interface bus transceivers, audio power amplifiers, and low power wireless transceivers.Mr. Broyles presented "Using CAN Arbitration for Electrical-Layer Testing" at the 8th International CAN Conference.He was awarded the 2005 Young Engineer of the Year award for the Dallas IEEE Consumer Electronics Society and the 2006 Young Engineer of the Year award for the Dallas IEEE.
