   WOODY BROWNLEE Nine years ago Woody Brownlee left a successful career in the financial industry to become a Real Estate Agent. Woody then formed the Brownlee Team in 1998 and has lead them to top 10 status among all Ebby offices/agents; an improbable feat for an industry "newcomer".
   
   Woody strives to maintain a high level of knowledge about the real estate industry and has earned the designation (CSP) Certified New Home Sale Professional and in 2003 earned his Real Estate Brokers License. In addition, Brownlee is a member of the Lake Cities Board of Realtors, having served as Parliamentarian for the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Bylaws Committee, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and is Past President of Home Builders Association - Metro East Division. He serves on the staff of Ebby School at the corporate office. Woody is active in " TOUR FOR TOPS ", a group of Top Agents in the area that tours listings on a monthly basis. Woody is a frequent speaker at various civic and professional groups, including the Garland Chamber of Commerce.
   
   Woody has an extensive real estate and business back ground. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a BBA, he spent several years in commercial banking, mortgage banking, title insurance, and residential development. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern School of Banking, Southern Methodist University, and has completed numerous real estate courses and seminars.
   
   Mr. Brownlee has been heavily involved in Garland Civic affairs; serving on the Board of Directors of the Baylor - Garland Hospital Foundation, Former Chairman of the City Planning Commission, Elected to the Garland City Council for two terms and was Mayor Pro-Tem for his final term. A past President of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, Brownlee has been a member of the Garland Jaycees, Lions and Rotary.
