CLINTWOOD , Va. - Edna Colley Browning , 94 , died Wednesday ( June 6 , 2001 ) at St. Mary's Long Term Care , Norton , Va.
She was a native of Dickenson County , Va. , and was born Sept. 18 , 1906 at Georges Fork. She was a member of the George's Fork Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She attended Radford University and taught school at Osborne Gap.
She was preceded in death by her husband , Jess Browning ; one son , John J. Browning ; two daughters , Glenna Browning and Peggy Say ; parents , Campbell and Palmyra Colley ; seven brothers ; two sisters ; and grandson , Harold Browning Jr.
