   Sidney's financial career started during college, working in the Institutional Portfolio Analysis group at Merrill Lynch's New York headquarters. It was there that he developed a keen interest in market dynamics, portfolio construction and strategies for managing investment risks.
   
   Later, he joined Fidelity Investments in 1998 where he was promoted three times, earning multiple recognition awards including the elite President's Circle Award in 2004*.
   
   Sidney has enjoyed a successful career in the financial industry since, and now at NFSG, he brings his vast expertise to our firm, providing both fee-based and asset management services**.
   
   Born in Richmond, VA and educated at New York University (NYU) and Michigan's Oakland University. In 1989, Sidney settled in Atlanta, where he continues to expand his education and expertise. Sidney earned the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification (CFP®) in 2001, and the Chartered Life UnderwriterTM (CLU®), by the American College in 2007. Sidney believes that in expanding his education and earning such designations, he enforces his commitment to the highest levels of ethical conduct and is able to further provide and promote the best in class service his clients are used to receiving.
   
   Sidney serves on the Board of the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, GA, as an assistant Cub Scoutmaster, baseball umpire and Junior Achievement mentor. He and his wife, Alia, were married in 1994 and have two beautiful children.
