   Darci Brownell is the head coach at Sierra Community College after serving two seasons as an assistant for the Wolverines. In 2002 she helped guide the team to a Nor Cal Championship and a top two finish in Northern California with a record of 40-9, while the Wolverines made a trip to the "elite eight State Softball Championships." In four seasons as the Wolverines head coach, her record is 188 - 61.
   
   Her experience includes 10 years at the high school level, where she led Del Camp High School to the playoffs six times. Four of her teams were CAL League Champions, and she was Coach of the Year in 1993. Her overall record at the Varsity level was 139-26. Brownwell competed at CSU Sacramento for four years as a catcher and oufielder. She also played ASA summer ball for the Nor-Cal Tremors. She received her B.A. degree from CSU Sacramento in Childhood Development with a minor in Physical Education, and she has a Master's in Education and Curriculum.
