   In her role as Tourism Development Consultant for the Western Region, Suzanne Browne serves as the primary liaison between the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and area community leaders, businesses, and representatives of local and regional tourism organizations in the implementation of Department of Tourism programs. She also serves as the primary liaison for the Nebraska Scenic Byways program.
   
   Suzanne's other responsibilities include the development and promotion of the state's agricultural tourism industry, in addition to providing assistance for the Nebraska Travel Industry Development Plan and the division's TARGET (Tourism Assessment Resource Growth Evaluation Team) program. Suzanne manages a regional field office, which oversees 29 counties in western Nebraska. Suzanne is also the coordinator of the agricultural/manufacturing tourism program.
