   Susan is an enthusiastic Science Educator and teaches the science workshops with her teammate, Chad Metcalf.

   Susan is an Alaskan certified teacher who specializes in teaching hands-on science and inquiry. She is a professional Hydrogeologist with over 20 years experience in geology, engineering and education. She earned a Master of Science in Hydrogeology and M.B.A. in Information Systems from Syracuse University. She also earned her Master of Teaching from Alaska Pacific University, along with her K-8 teaching certification. She enjoys photography, travel, performing music and appreciating the outdoor wonders of Alaska.
