   Robert Brown is a past Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Price Waterhouse [now PricewaterhouseCoopers], one of Canada's leading accounting and professional organizations where he also had international responsibilities.He is also a past Chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, served as Chair of the Canadian Tax Foundation and as a member of the Toronto Stock Exchange Committee on Corporate Governance [the Dey Committee].
   
   Mr. Brown also served a term as the Clifford Clark Visiting Economist to the Department of Finance.He is a corporate director and consultant, and is Chairman of the Board of Residential Equities Real Estate Investment Trust, one of Canada's largest residential property owners.His volunteer work includes serving as Chair of the Toronto French School and a trustee of the Royal Ontario Museum, as well as being active in supporting the University of Toronto where he is currently chair of the University College Committee.He is a past Chair of the C.D. Howe Foundation [a leading economic research institute] and a frequent speaker and writer on economic and tax policies.
   
   Bob is a director of Canadian Policy Research Networks and a past director of the Institute of Corporate Directors.He also served as a member of the Panel on Accountability and Governance of the Voluntary Sector Roundtable.Bob was appointed by the Ministers of Finance and National Revenue to co-chair a committee dealing with tax credits and assistance for the disabled.
   
   Bob is a graduate of the University of Toronto [B.Comm.] and of the University of Chicago [M.A., Economics].
