Previously, Browne was in finance management at Apple Computer (NASDAQ: AAPL) and a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch and Co. (NYSE: ML). Browne received a bachelor of science in business administration and accounting from San Jose State University and a master's in business administration from Santa Clara University.
   
   Thomas, with 16 years of high-technology experience, comes to IPextreme after holding several engineering management positions at SGI, including a technical lead position designing processor and I/O hub chips for the SGI MIPS-64 and Intel IA-64 processor-based supercomputers. Previously, he was an engineer and design manager at Clearwater Networks (formerly Xsteam Logics) and a design reuse engineering manager at Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS), where he was a key contributor in the development of IP for the Synopsys DesignWare product. Thomas also held engineering positions with Motorola (NYSE: MOT), as product and test engineer, and Thomson Consumer Electronic Components (France), where he contributed to the design of the first MPEG Video Encoder System and was responsible for verification of Digital TV chips designed for Thomson Multimedia.
