Running on the United Party ticket are Charlotte Droogan, Donna Espersen and Michael Browne.
...
Michael Browne is running for the Village Board because, he said, the United Party candidates will propose an ethics ordinance that would forbid Bolingbrook's elected officials from accepting political donations from any developers, companies or individuals doing business with the village.
Browne has been an advertising copywriter for more than 18 years. During that time he has created a number of award-winning ads for various charitable organizations and Fortune 500 companies. He has also volunteered by contributing ads for causes, such as curbing infant mortality rates and Students for Free Enterprise.
He and his wife, Laura, have lived in Bolingbrook for 15 years. Browne is a former paratrooper with the US. Army's 82nd Airbourne Division.
Browne is currently the elected committeeman for Precinct 27, and the first vice chairman of the DuPage Township Democratic Organization. If elected to the Village Board he said he would bring more diversity to the board.
