   Kim A. Browne, from Columbus, was appointed as Judge to the Franklin County Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court for a term beginning Jan. 22, 2002.Ms. Browne replaces Judge Yvette McGee Brown, who resigned to become president of the Center for Child and Family Advocacy.

   Ms. Browne is an associate in the law firm of Maguire & Schneider, LLP, as well as an adjunct professor at Ohio Dominican College.Ms. Browne's experience began as a Labor Relations Specialist for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, going on to become Special Assistant to the Deputy Director of Human Resources for that department.During that time, she practiced law part-time under Browne Legal Services.She then became the director of employee and labor relations for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and was subsequently promoted to director of legal operations.Ms. Browne then became an associate with Maguire & Schneider in February 2001.
   
   Ms. Browne received her B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. degree from The Ohio State University.
