20 June 2006 -- Building on the last two year's charity fund-raising successes, seven intrepid ANCHO staff and two determined ANCHO Management Board Members (including Jackie Browne, Management Board Chair) recently completed the 12 mile Great Scottish Walk in Edinburgh to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.
The team (along with around 7000 walkers in total) - Jackie Browne (Chair), Helen Malcolmson (Board Member), Elaine Gibson (Director), Jim Munro (Housing Services Manager), Liz Docherty (Finance and Corporate Services Manager), Keith Henderson (ICT Officer, Lorna Scott (Housing Services Officer, Marie Lawrie (Administration Assistant), and former colleague Ian Grant - walked around Arthur's Seat, past the Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh Castle, out Leith Walk to Leith seafront and then back to cross the finishing line at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 18 June 2006.
