   Ms. Esther Browne, has been appointed to the post of General Manager, East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Limited. In this position Ms. Browne will have responsibility for Group Corporate Services including Risk Management, Credit Risk, Marketing and Sales, Information Management and Technology Systems, Strategic Planning, Finance and Group Treasury, Investment activities within Bank of Saint Lucia Limited and the Group's Property Holding and Development Company.
   
   Ms. Browne has been employed with the East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Limited (ECFH) and its predecessor institution, the Saint Lucia Development Bank Ltd (SLDB), from October 1982. She has held various positions within the Group including Senior Accountant at the SLDB, Risk Manager, and Senior Manager for Finance Planning Risk & Administration at the East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Limited. Her most recent appointment was Senior Assistant to Group Managing Director within the ECFH Group. Ms Browne holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Leicester in the UK and has extensive training and experience in the areas of accounting, financial management, risk management, banking and electronic commerce. She has assisted in providing technical assistance in financial management and accounting application systems to various Development Banks in the Region and currently serves on the Boards of EC Global Insurance Company Ltd, Property Holding and Development Company Ltd and Blue Coral Limited.
